Seamless Stressfree Horse Selling

Selling horses in a seamless stressfree way is one of the principal reasons Right Horse Right Home was created. With the aim of bringing together genuine, likeminded people along with an online application process which makes finding the right new home for your horse easier and a lot less stressful than advertising on the ‘open market’. When we receive a testimonial of how well the system has worked for a horse owner and buyer it reminds us of how effective the website is.  We have a horse owner who is thrilled their horse has found the home they wanted for them, a buyer who has found the horse they were searching for and as a direct result any likelihood of the horse ending up in the wrong hands due to misinformation on either side has been all but eliminated.

Lynn wanted to share her story with us, she came to use Right Horse Right Home after having horses for over 30 years but had decided it was time to ‘hang up her bridle’. She had a lovely boy, Dallas, that she wanted to find a home for but didn’t want to just advertise him anywhere for fear of being constantly contacted by the wrong people.

Lynn saw a ‘Horse Wanted’ advert that had been placed on the Right Horse Right Home website by a lady called Jo. This Wanted Advert described exactly; the horse Jo was looking for, the type of home she could offer and her experience of owning horses etc.  On reading this, Lynn knew that Jo had the perfect home for Dallas and felt they could be the perfect match.  Lynn listed Dallas for sale on the website @ a cost of just £12.99 and Dallas’ details were sent to Jo.  Jo was smitten and immediately submitted her application for Dallas and both parties were put in contact with one another.

Lynn wrote “It has been a difficult month, I first contacted Jo on the 12th December and then she came to ride Dallas, she had him vetted on the 3rd January which he passed but then she went on holiday from the 10th to 20th January, she collected Dallas on the 21st January and I told her she could have him on trial until the 30th and if she or he wasn’t happy she could return him and I would refund her money, she contacted me on Tuesday to say she would be keeping him. I would never have advertised Dallas elsewhere, he’s a very special horse, he will be my last horse after keeping them for 30 years, it’s time to hang up my bridle. ”

I am very impressed with this website, I would never have advertised my horse for sale elsewhere, due to health issues I knew I would eventually have to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome my horse, just by chance I noticed an advert from a lovely lady who seemed an ideal owner, I think the details of prospective owners is excellent, I am happy to say I have peace of mind knowing my beautiful horse has now moved to a brilliant new home with a caring owner. The communication I have had from Rebecca has been very supportive.” Lynn

This is such wonderful news and we wish Lynn, Jo and of course Dallas all the very best for their future.
