Horse Details

Elliott is a handsome, solid, quality bay cob, who is currently 14.3hh but he’s got some growing still to do!
He is sensible and kind to handle, being good to lead, catch, groom, bath etc.
He is fine with the farrier and to clip, however he’s fussy with clipping his legs so he had sedalin for that when I wanted them done as it’s just easier. He’s not nasty with it just a total fidget!
Elliott is snaffle mouthed and forward going to hack out, he’s very sane in open spaces. He is superb in traffic never batters an eyelid at anything whether alone or in company. Skip lorries, busses, tractors even a fire engine with lights flashing he isn’t phased.
He is progressing in the school although being still very young he can switch off if you ask too much of him, but he’s trying hard and taken to pole work very well.
He really enjoys his jumping and shows a lot of promise, he’s bold and genuine and with time will be cracking at it. We have been out and about a bit doing some cross-country schooling and he loves it, he has a real pony type jump and sorts himself out nicely.
He can pop in the odd buck in canter if you are with others but it’s due to youthful exuberance, it’s nothing big or nasty he just gets a bit excited!!
We have worked on his basics and he shows huge potential, his owner would like him to go to someone who can fulfil that. She has two very young children and just cannot find the time to do him justice. In her words he’s wasted on her. He’s not suitable for a novice due to his age and as he deserves to flourish.
He’s a big solid lad, a proper weight carrier who will make a super all rounder.
He’s happy in or out, he’s currently being worked from the field due to lack of a stable hence although clipped his legs are on to keep him warm!
